Citiresidential Lending no help in upside down mortgage Santa Ana California

Since being refinance by aegis mortgage citiresidential acquired our mortgage we made our payment until i have become totally disabled as is my wife , I have tried on numerous occasions to work a refinance agrement with citi residential they say i do not qualify due to fixed income this is not fair,have owned home for 4 years no late payment for 34 months became very ill hospitalized for 64 days lost right lung and have copd in left lung this is not right for them to tell my wife and I that there is nothing they can do , I do not believe this the investor on my mortgage is citi-group which just last wednesday 0ct 29,2008 they got there share of the 700billion dollar bailout to a tune of close to 20 billion for bad debt mortgages ,to recover losses ,It is beyond my physical abilities to hold a job{work] I have no ability to breahe under physically stressful work, Is ther any help in this country we live in, or isthe help for thr richer to get richer
