City Financial Trust Inc International Scammers Chatham Ontario Canada

I received a letter informing me that I was a winner of North American Shoppers Sweepstakes that was held on March 5, 2008 with an enclosed check for $4,875.00. Check looks real but research over the internet provides that it is a scam. The letter states that I cannot cash it until I call the tax agent and send $2,975.00 dollars to cover government taxes due through MoneyGram or Western Union. When the claim is processed I would receive the remaining winnings in a final check of 120,125.00, delivered by FedEx. I was told to contact Mrs. Carol Armstrong the claim agent and the letter was signed by Mrs. Brenda Hicks, the promotion manager. I am glad I researched this before thinking my financial issues were over.
