This report is in regards to the corruption in the city of
Coral Gables parking department.
There are numerous cases of
people getting tickets before the "expired" shows up in the meter. I
received one & took a picture with my cell phone
of my car at the SAME time & the guy giving the ticket wasn't even there.
In fact he was 6 blocks north. Obviously he doesn't travel at the speed
of sound. If he was there at the "SAME TIME" why didn't we see each other?
The corruption goes all the way to the parking department who in fact
looks the other way & suggests you "fight it in court".
I went to City hall, police department, & parking department
within 20 minutes of the "incident" & NO ONE wanted to address the
issue because they all look out for one another there. It's sad that my
taxes pay for these people's salary.
