I reported my water meter leaking to the city of jackson for 2 and half months.  They would aways say we will send someone out.  Then ask about a re-read, they would say after the meter is fixed.  Now they tell me I have to pay a 279 dollar bill before i get my meter re-read. It was there fault to start now I have to pay the extra money I dont have and can not pay.

Either call the Mayor's Action Line.  It is listed in the blue pages of the telephone book.  Or call WLBT-TV Problem Resolution Office and tell them your story.  They will put it on the news.  The city hates stories like this and will move to get a bad PR story fixed, quick.
