CJ Events ripoff Los Angeles California

I just started a small business and I wanted to introduce my products through a home show since my specialty is remodeling doors with beautiful glass art.

I was surfing the net and found a sponsor called CJ Events after I talked to them they said they would save me a spot but I needed pay the full amount for the space.

The home show would be in about 5 months from the date of reservation well they only sent me an invoice I paid $1,000.00 they cashed the check and I never heard from them since. The day of the homeshow came and I knew nothing about it. After numerous phone calls and email messages with no response I decided to go to their place, it turn out that the address they had on their invoice was a Postal Annex and their suite number was only a mail box. And they had closed they're account there 3 months prior to the homeshow. I got ripped off bad everything seemed real so now all I have to do is file a police report and hope that they do their job.
