I have just gotten off of the phone with Class V Promotions, the lady said that they had found my resume' on Monster.com and noticed that I had the experience they were looking for, that they had a position open for entry level management and wanted me to come in for an interview. She stated that they work with NASCAR and another affiliation that I cannot remember. As she asked me when I was available for an interview I was pulling up the web to investigate right away. She gave me the dates and times to choose from so I chose tomorrow at 11. She asked me to write down the address and as she gave it I was putting the information into the Google web search. She said she would also send me an email with directions to the building. As soon as I hit enter in the Google search, this report was the first thing to pop up! And just as everyone else, I had been hit as well. I have a part time job now so as for one of the the people that stated laziness, that was just a rude comment in general. On the other hand, the red flag that had hit me was when she said NASCAR. Here lately, I have been receiving "TEXT" messages from people stating they have found my resume and they wanted me to call this 888 number. Give me a break, if you want to hire someone a text message is not the way to do it. But back on the subject of Class V Promotions. After reading all of the comments and reports, I will NOT be attending the interview. I understand that if the one person that says they work with them is happy doing the job, well good for you! You must be just as good a scam artist as they are. I have been to interviews in the past just like this, I was in what they call a MASS interview, its just a recruitment pyramid that I will not waste my time on when I could be interviewing for REAL jobs.

You can go over to google maps and check the address (and usually a photo of the property). They also have reviews. The one on this organization is far from flattering.
You would have been selling various merchandise in front of gas stations and convenience stores. You would have been covering your own transportation and meal costs. Gives me the chills thinking about the times I've seen drifters selling velvet Elvis paintings using the same technique.
The business model strongly resembles the one used by Scentura perfumes. Do a search for those reports.......there's hundreds.
Keep in mind you work as a 1099 contractor. That means you pay your own taxes including the FULL social security tax. Work the numbers out beforehand, please. Odds are you'll make an hourly rate far less than minimum wage. Ask who covers your legal problems when you're arrested/cited for violating local peddling ordinances. You are on your own.........
