Claude Allen, house leveler, was hired to level a nine bedroom home that housed the mentally impaired. He poured cement slabs that slanted towards the east; placed four foot telephone post without putting them in the ground on top of the cement slabs, and didn't support the posts to the structure of the house. It wasn't anchored; all the necessary parts were stacked on top of each other.

The house shifted about three feet to the East and landed four feet to the ground. The only warning was a cracking sound as the house started moving and slid off the posts and the east wall blew out two feet from the structure from the force of the fall. A beam in the center of the house broke in half and came up through the dining room floor between two females who were sitting at the table. Ceiling tiles fell on top of a male resident and a woman in the bathroom was thrown against the east wall while debris began falling on top of her.

Claude Allen denied giving me a five year warranty and told a news reporter that he gave me a two year warranty. He started leveling this house November 25, 2002 and didn't complete it until a year later. The skirting was installed unevenly and didn't last a year when it began separating from the side of the house. He said his work didn't cause the house to fall and said "it was something in the walls."

A man who used to work for Claude Allen told me he scams everyone in Temple because the City has no guidelines in place for meeting codes and/or obtaining permits. At least seven people have come to me since my house collapsed informing me that he did shoddy work for them too. Unfortunately, my house received the most damage because it collapsed and nine people were inside when this happened. No one died; just scrapes and bruises but nine mentally impaired individuals were left without a home.

This place is called the(((ROR redacted name for security purposes))) where I cater to the homeless, mentally impaired population who have been shunned by other resources. Claude Allen intentionally and knowingly supplied shoddy work that could have cost someone their life. He needs to be held accountable for what he's done to me and those who were living in my house not to mention other victims in the city that he's scammed.
