C.L.E.A.N. LLC Robin Wittenborn Does NOT pay last week of work!!! MANY girls included in this complaint!! Ballwin, Missouri

This company has been in service for 12 years and the owner has ripped off MANY girls she hires by not paying their last week of pay or more. She hires us as "independent contractors" but treats us as employees, telling us when and how to do the job. With a legal contract we sign we are given specific ways on how to get out of the company and still get paid for all services we provide. This is not true. No matter how you get out of company..most the time she chases you out the door, you will not recieve full or half of your last weeks pay. Most of the time she will continue to emotionally harass the girls the rest of their last day, the Police station in Ballwin is VERY familiar with her. She is extremely disrespectful to her "contractors", using vulgar language, throwing objects, manipulating, and telling lies to the other girls about other previous "contractors". For a company that has been running so long, she has never had a "contractor" stay around for more than 6 months, has had many claims filed against her regarding pay, "contractors" won but never paid.  She also has many advertising claims that are not true. Claims to never have teams clean your home.. teams clean homes all the time. She also discloses to the clients that the same person will clean the home everytime...then turns around and tells the contractors that we can hire someone else, a "sub-contractor" to clean the home. So which is it? Advertises to girls before hiring that she does all the leg work to get homes for us to clean then turns around after hiring and practically forces us to do marketing in one way or another..with out pay..and will use your next pay check as a ransom if don't. Also, claims to "Give you a Mcdonald" all we got to do is make the hamburgers. However, you can never leave with the clients.. promising girls the world..with no pay of course.

Always Paid

Please allow me to rebutt the complaint. I contract for Robin Wittenborn and let me begin by saying that she always pays. Many times she pays more than is owed. I have NEVER heard a vulgar word come from her mouth. Robin offers an opportunity. There IS a contract associated with that opportunity. If you leave the company and do not return company property you will not be paid. If you leave the company without sufficient notice you will not be paid. These are the terms that are set forth in the contract. If anyone signs the contract it means that they agree with the terms.

The complaintant speaks about the last week of work. I am still contracted to C.L.E.A.N. however, I am in contact with several former agents that can tell you that they have never had issue with payment. Disgruntled personnell seem to want to put the blame on someone else, and in my opinion, this is what is happening here.

Robin is a delightful and well respected person. She has clients that have been with her for over ten years and agents that have been with her for longer. If she was as bad as the complaintant says she is, why would they still be with her?
