Some front desk staff members are very unprofessional and rude to the point if you disagree with them they will continue to make comments so that they may have the last word.  They are very argumentive instead of professional.  The "Referrel department" is incompetent and again when you try to ask them questions concerning the hold up of paperwork they are unprofessional, rude, argumentive and blatantly lie to your face.  The referrel dept will tell you that you need a copy of the approved referrel and then told me I had to come in and pick it up.  When I got there it wasn't there and Lynette(works in referrel dept.) told me I didn't need it.  So I questioned why they made me come out to pick it up if that were the case.  They had left a approved referrel of another test I needed though.  She constantly contradicts herself and what I believe to be down right lying to cover her incompetence.  She is always very rude.  The Doctors office that I need to go to told me I needed to bring my copy of the referrel and so didn't chc referrel dept.  Because they didn't do thier job once again they had to lie to cover that up. 

In June of this year I had an appointment for a mamogram.  The referrel paperwork was filled out incorrectly with the wrong code.  This is also the norm in this facility.  Paperwork is filled out incorrectly quite often which delays test being done.  Lynette told the nurse she would get the paperwork corrected and fax it over so for me to wait at the facility(West Coast Radiology) and I would still be able to have the mamogram.  I waited in the office for over two hours and the paper work never came.  I called Lynette back and she had never did what she said she was going to do /never tried to get the paper work corrected even though she knew she had me waiting at the office to have the mamogram done.  When I questioned her she became very rude and told me she was in a lunch meeting and couldn't do it.  I asked her why she just didn't say that to the nurse and why did you have me wait there for over two hours.  She wouldn't answer me and became even more rude.

It has been six months of testing and I still do not know if I have breast cancer.  The incompetence of moving paperwork through causes all kinds of delays. 

I have emails all the way to Senator Jones of pinellis county and can't seem to get anyone to listen.  It's like they just want to schedule test and charge the county but no treatment.  The system is awful and no one seems to know how it really works.  There is so much more and I have all my emails to the Representative and Senators if anyone is interested. 

From rude unprofessional behavior to incompetence to the point  of delayed treatment.
