Too Good to be True - and it Isn't - that is the bogus SCAM from Satellitetvtopc, which offeredover 3,000 tv channels to view from my PC laptop for a one time price of $49.95.

Foolishly, I jumped on board and called the then working number and gave them my MasterCard number for the $49.95, which was paid through ClinkBlank. Of course, I received an immediate email response from ClinkBlank stating my account was successfully charged $49.95. They also stated at the end of the email confirmation, that if for some reason you do not receive access to the product after payment, to try again with a different web site address they provided, which did not work.

After working for over ten hours trying to gain access to the Satellitetvtopc, I did some checking and found out this was a bogus website. Anything that was posted that stated to the contrary was posted by someone with Satellitetvtopc. I quickly learned this operation is illegal and any websites trying to sell access to thousands of FREE tv channels  for a one time fee are SCAMS and are committing Internet Fraud.

I am in the process of trying to get my money back from ClinkBank. It seems their websites are conviently non-working when I try to get into them. I have sent several emails to ClinkBank requesting a refund, but have had no response. I am prepared to turn this over to the Lieutenant Governor's Office of SC, where they will conduct a full investigation into a scam such as this.

Anyone out there with any suggestions on how to get my money back, I would appreciate your assistance.

Response finally from CLINKBANK

AUTHOR: Mary - (USA)

POSTED: Wednesday, June 30, 2010
Well - I finally received an email response from CLINKBANK regarding my request for a refund of $49.95. This was for the bogus Satellitetv company that was supposedly selling access on our computers to over 3,000 tv channels. CLINKBANK stated they were refunding the $49.95 that was charged to my credit card, and to allow 4-5 business days for the credit to be made.  Hopefully, this Granny has resolved a very foolish mistake.
