I have been a loyal customer for over 21 yrs.went in & I was told they were closing sorting out my choices they rang a few items & ripped 2 things out of my hand & said I couldn't buy them Perrysburg, Ohio

went into the store not aware of the time.A short period after a sales clerk Crystal told me they were going to be closing.I said o.k & said I was heading up to check out,like every other business does when stores clothes,they announce closing & allow customers to proceed to checkout.I have been in Retail Management & owned a business as well.Since I was unaware of the time I had to quickly make my choice.The assistant manager rudely announced to me that I was aware of there hours.I'm an educated consumer,I know which labels are from which store & I do have a basic knowledge of Mall hrs. However this was a strip center.The manager tried to take all my things out of my cart as i was sorting through what I had.I laid things out that she told me I had to hold.When I came in it seemed earlier & I had items in my car.Very few but name brand.The 2 lady's stood there & were clearly put off with me purchasing the products they sell.I quickly made 2 pile.She started grabbing things as I sorting ringing things I wasn't sure I wanted.She rang a few items & wouldn't allow me to complete my purchase.She ripped 4 or more items out of my hand & said I could not purchase them.There was 2 $3.00 scarves & a $4.00 wallet.I was holding over $12.00 & was not allowed to look for my money.I asked holding my $ if I could please have the scarves & wallet.She said no as I stood there crying & threw my bag at me."She then said an exact quote "I know how you are you would be here all night If I'd let you!"As if my 22+yrs. as a loyal customer was a put off to her.I wasn't selling I was buying.As a former manager I personally would of wanted the sale.Crying as I left I said It was sad the way there company treat customers.Next I said what happened to good old customer service like"The customer is always right"? Iv'e been told by another Manager that a store Mngr.Tracy purposely gave me a lower price every time I brought items in & showed me the computer system they used,that said best price.Judy told me when Tracy worked & told me to come in on her days off.Its unprofessional & extremely poor business to gossip about customers,talk down to them as if they own the store.Pull purchases out of customers hands.As I was getting my $ to pay,the last time I was in the store a Mngr. I think named Leslie informed me that her & Judy were talking about me.Judy was now at another branch store called Platos Closet.I bought jeans from a Platos in Mi. for my daughter.In 22yrs. Iv'e never once returned a thing.There policy is horrible to begin with 3 days on jeans,other items 7 days.The jeans didn't fit her so I went to exchange them in the 3 day window.I payed cash & was buying her other stuff,not getting cash back.I was informed they were a corporate store.How was I to know a franchise that's all over has different owner's?So I lost $ & they bought back a brand new pair of Uggs & I got a third back & kept the jeans,to sell them on my own to a friend or online.So all the Managers are unprofessional,talk about loyal customers & YELL at them for losing $,getting stuck with another product & making 1 return in over 2 decades.I have brought in 2 to 3 friends at a time.They sniff out new blood.Pay them high the 1st buy to get them back.Then all my referrals complain about poor customer service & disrespectful to them regarding there possessions.After the past 2 bad experiences,I was shook up & sat in my car crying,because I felt harassed  again.I didn't want to drive like that nervous,so I sat in my car.Since the 2 employee's don't care about the company's bottom line,or customer's,I got a bad feeling.I saw them standing in the dark staring at me.I went & sat at another store,still upset.I asked if her store was open 8:38 she said 9:00pm.So I drove to the ice cream store next to Clothes Mentor to go in there & talk to the owner who was a client of my Mom who was her hair stylist,until recently when she passed away from Cancer.I was in front of the ice cream place when Ellen's Husband saw me crying.I told him what happened & he knew of my Moms passing & went over to ask the Asst.Mngr. Crystal G. when a local police officer knocks on my window.He says what's your name Mrs.?I said I was just harassed in that store & Iv'e been crying & didn't want to drive.I asked what law I was breaking?he said menacing.I said sir. I was bullied.I am in a public parking lot of a strip center.I felt to upset to drive so I was trying to calm down.The Ice Cream owner did not get the hateful heartless cruel bully to apologize.When I was at the Ice cream store I knew she was being shady,that's why I was so shook up.I told her I'm not comfortable crying & driving.She called the Police & then she came up to my car & said I was no longer aloud in "HER STORE".So to sum it up,she ripped stuff out of my hand,made me cry,then called the Police on me?Is that what I deserve for 2 decades of loyal business & multiple referrals?I stopped selling them clothes years ago.I call friends over & make piles $1.00,$3.00 & so on.They only pay you 30%.They are unknowable about brands & prices.Sarah Jessica Parker had a line when they opened called Bitten.The entire line was 1 price $7.00 or $8.00 & me trying to help,I let them know they had priced a pair of used shoes for $12.00.They just are bully's & they are on power trips.I have NEVER heard a positive thing come from anyone about there staff.I get people may have unrealistic expectations on what there stuff is worth.But the people who go there often,like myself,are prepared for the low balling & they treat all of us the same.When I went in there I shared with them that I was starting a fashion blog/vlog & that I was going to put up there link.They didn't care.The just punch the clock & stare at it until they can run out of there.I really wish that people would maybe work somewhere that made them happy,even if it meant less money.Not all people are like this.In this area,there are a lot of unhappy people & they take it out on customers.Who calls the Police on someone crying?What am I gonna do splash a tear on them?What a joke.Honestly if you have items to sell,referrals,social networking & private appointments are easier & you make more money & the other person pays less because you charge less then the store,but more then they would pay you.I went to a Saver's which is a donation place like a Goodwill,I found a brand new Ikea drape in the package for $1.00 & some wonderful glassware.Your money goes to a charity,there prices are better,people are nicer & your business is more appreciated.They only reason they stay open,1.they are the only place in town. 2).People sell there stuff to make money,even though they walk away upset.They have no other options.I can not believe after all the complaints Iv'e heard,I'm 1 of the few to post.Well Buyer Be Ware.Set your expectations low for money & bad service if you choose to do business with Clothes Mentor.And DON"T cry you may end up in jail.
