This company is awful. Shab and Jen sell you these great priced packages but dont let you use them. They will say the package is expired, they are too busy to let you use the packages, or somehow you are running low on them. They are truly liars and I have no doubt the state of oregon will be closing them down soon. I looked on the better business bureau and they have a rating of F. Both www.clubtanoregon and www.foreveryoungoregon. com are rip offs.. When you get a treatment the employees complain the whole time on how tired they are from working a 12 hour day with no breaks. It is not restfull and makes you feel bad for the employees. The employees are also this wierd color from Tanning it is crazy, espically Shab. I dont know how Shab and Jen sleep at night. I am finally done with my package their and I am so glad. I am tired of being attacked and treated like I am stupid. Once again do not use them. Once again, they will not let you use the beauty packages because they are too full, steal them from you, or they expire. What a joke..

Going to Court!

Club Tan charged my wife's card without permission for a package that she would think about but NEVER agreed upon nor used.  When she called to inquire why she was charged for this package they said she would need to call a number, they gave her, to cancel the package that she never authorized.  Inconveniently, she called and they said they would take care of this...they didn't follow through!  Even though my wife called multiple times to get this straightened out they conveniently had no record that she called the first time to cancel or of the numerous times beforehand.  Keep in mind, she DID NOT authorize the purchase of the package.  Club Tan continued to call and harrass for payment because ultimately we had to cancel the card and dispute the charges through the bank because Club Tan continued to withdraw money from my wife's account because they had her card on file.  This is who we trusted to keep our card on file?  Big mistake on our part.  CONSUMER BEWARE!!!

Club Tan dose not show up for court. After you win be prepared to take them to court agin to force them to give you Their Bank account info.

Now is that the kind of company you want to take a chance with your credit Info????

Hi there-

A client told me that she saw this post on the website and I wanted to check it out for myself...

I was more than a little concerned to see that someone actually took the time to post something like this online! I have been managing a couple Club Tan / Forever Young locations for almost three years now and I have never seen this kind of thing going on. I will be the first person to admit that we're all human and that mistakes do happen though!

I'm just sorry that you had such a negative experience and I wish that you'd give myself (and the company) the opportunity to turn that around for you.

If I at any time came across as condescending to you, I do apologize. I strive to be polite, friendly, and approachable, not only at work but in my personal life as well. If you're willing to give us another shot, we're ready show you what the client experience should be like... Many people truly enjoy their experience at Forever Young!

I am extremely shocked by what people are saying about Club Tan/Forever Young. I have one package with them right now for Velashape and will be getting an additional package for laser hair removal. Their customer service is fantastic--they always call to remind me of my appointments, offer me water the moment I walk in the door, be sure to schedule all of my appointments ahead of time, and make sure that I am happy with the way my treatments are going. In fact, they guarantee their work. Their establishment is very clean and I never worry about the quality of service I will be receiving. The negative comments on the physical appearance of the staff is silly, to say the least. If someone if wearing a fur coat, or they go tanning too much, who cares? That does not support your claims of scandelous behavior and inability to provide services that are paid for--it just shows everyone that you are using fillers to beef up your complaint. I go to the Beaverton location on 185th, and I have never observed any employees being over-worked and unwilling to help me. I strongly suggest that readers of this compaint try them out for yourself, instead of make a decision based on someone who is clearly being malicious and personally attacking others.

This is the worst company

I am also going to the AG office in Or regarding this company. They take your money then you cant get an apt., the workers are awful and can not make an apt., and the workers are awful at thier job. It appears a worker sued them and won. I am so glad. All Shab does is talk about how she rips off customers and gets to drive a hundred thousand dollar Mercedes. She also appears to be on drugs as per the employees and her verbal skills. She cant keep eye contact, as well. Drugs. This is truly an awful company. It appears tons of customers are very unhappy with them and they are overcharging peoples credit cards. I am also going to the BBB about them but they don't care that is why they have a rating of F.. It appears thier negative Karma is coming back to them. Jen, the owner runs around in fur coats with her crazy son so it appears she may have to downsize.. once again Karma.. You cant treat your customers and staff bad and expect no consequences. I hope they atleast hire more staff that can read and write.. Also, Roger is condascending ..

Again, another complete lie by Jeff at Club Tan. Who in their right mind would use their real name when complaining about your company? You guys would call the customer and harass them to no avail. As a former customer who has seen first-hand how Club Tan handles complaints, I know that everything that has come out of your mouth in this rebuttal is a complete and utter lie.

The allegations levied in this review are baseless and untrue. To say that Shab, Jen or any other Club Tan or Forever Young employee "sells you great priced packages but doesn't let you use them" is completely false, and if that was the way we did business, we wouldn't have lasted 25 years in this industry. To imply or even suggest that the state of Oregon "will be closing them down soon" or that "the employees are this weird color" from tanning is malicious and untrue. Taning packages that are sold as a quantity of months obviously will, eventually, expire. It should be noted, however, that all of the tanning packages we sell for high-pressure beds, and all of our spa packages, are sold without time limits, and we challenge this reviewer to prove otherwise.

We're sorry that this person is or was unhappy with their services, but to say that (Shab and Jen) are "truly liars" or that they "attack her and treat her like she's stupid" is wrong and inappropriate.

It is also interesting that we have no client at any location by the name of "Pam Reed", so this person has obviously chosen an alias. We encourage this person to e-mail their concerns to our corporate office, and we will address them.
