Colorado Technical University-Denver Campus-Colorado Nothing But Rape. Denver Colorado

Student here for more than five years and a veteran. Earned an associates of science in Information Technology. Only after maxing out my student loans and declaring bankruptcy and going through an adversary proceeding to get it all cleared away. Thats not because of financial mismanagement-thats because CTU is a glorified ITT Tech that targets veterans particularly. Just ask the bankruptcy court downtown. 

The administration is a f*cking roach that needs to be exterminated and thoroughly cleansed of the bureaucracy it is entrenched with. They are the same as University of Phoenix and ITT Tech if you were wondering and will use security and all other means to harass you.
Security honestly likes to ask for your ID even after you get into the classroom which requires an ID. I was once hanging out on their fifth floor trying to organize my stuff when the guard actually came in and was inspecting the doors to see if they were intact! Basically trying to see if I had broken any of them! Im homeless, not a godamned idiot! 

Ive even seen students have altercations with the staff for the very same reasons I am on here writing about. They are only out for your money. Seriously, you do not want to be surrounded by this just for going to school. 
I have been homeless for more than 17 months and even did a stint in jail because my homelessness was that bad. And in the five years I have been here, its nothing but a f*cking diploma mill to sock you of your money and drain you of everything you have. Ive been unable to find work suitable enough all because employers say I need a better name before they consider me. 

My personal safety and sanity have been repeatedly threatened just showing up to this place. The staff are hostile and impersonal. Especially to homeless people even if you're an alumni. I use their resources to help with my workload while I look for work which is an option you have as an alumni if you should need it. Or so I have been told. And all I get is policed and profiled walking in the door. Questions are centered on, “why are you herel?” “When are you leaving?” When according to other staff, alumni can utilize the school if they are needing to when looking for work or anything else they may need assistance with professionally. 

One occasion was so bad that I seriously had to make a report about it. It was while CTU was renting out their space to the Denver Police Department so DPD could practice their home invasion drills and sticking people in the neck without their consent to further propagate their f*cking so called War on Drugs which is nothing but a f*cking smoke screen for government expansion and further police control and infringement on your rights. Ever heard of 1984? Animal Farm? Thats what they drill here. Seriously. 

And one day in particular was very disturbing to the point I stood up and said something to the police who were drilling. Telling them as someone who has been through a majority of the scenarios they have drilled just from being homeless-you all should really practice a little more respect when conducting these drills and consider just what you are doing. Their supervisor stood up and walked right into my face and forced me to back out of the door way in fear for my safety. 

He then proceeded to try and tell me that while they are conducting drills, I should not interrupt and essentially mind my own business. Despite the fact they are a guest at CTU and I am a student. Meaning, students come first. I backed off temporarily but not completely. I wasnt about to let this drop. I was going to come in the next morning and occupy one of the adjacent classrooms to disrupt them during drills to send a message that their worthless f*cking sh*t is nothing but bullsh*t. I wasn't prepared for what I would encounter the night before that. 

I was living in my car at the time and sleeping wherever there was free parking. I had found a spot late at night around 9 or 10pm near CTU. It was a quiet street without much traffic. A silver chevy sedan pulled up behind me and parked with its lights still on. There was no other traffic on the road. I looked in my review mirror to see what they were doing behind me since there was plenty of space elsewhere. And it turned out to be the supervisor from earlier that day. 
I was scared sh*tless as to what he could be doing there since he wasn't even in uniform and his car looked like a nondescript police car.

He sat there watching me until it was clear I wasn't getting out unless there were reinforcements. He later drove off once he clued in. I had never been in such fear of law enforcement in my life and had always thought they were supposed to be a resource-not a predator. I was wrong. I came in the next morning to make my point and saw that supervisor there. I heard him tell his class that day he had followed me the night before to prove a point from the earlier altercation and to see if I was a prostitute. He didn't think I was at CTU for anything important. All because I stood up to them. Believe me or not, thats what I experienced. Simply for occupying a classroom. 

And using it for what I needed it for. This happened in December of 2017. Im a person trying their life back in order. 
I was later throw in jail for an unrelated issue and released in November. I am now working to recover and rebuild from everything. And all I get is literally the same s**t as before. Profiled. Policed. Accosted. Harassed. And questioned over and over again, “why are you here?” essentially. 
You might not experience any of this while at CTU or maybe you will. Who knows. Think critically before offering your tuition to a place like this. You're the one paying their salary, not them. Do you want to come first or do you want to be raped for your money?
