Colossus Credit Lending Inc Rita Hayward Or Agnus This company told me that I was approved for a 10,000 loan but I had to send the first 4 months in advance. I sent them 708.00 and still have not received the loan. They will not answer the phone for me now. Portland maine

I applied for a 10,000 loan on the internet and received a call the next day saying that i was approved. I was told that to get the loan I first had to send a payment of 708.00 which was the first 4 months in advance.

I received a loan agreement by fax and I then faxed all of my personal information to the company with the signed agreement. I sent the payment through Moneygram and called to give them the reference number. They asked me to send the payment to Clayton Higgins in Canada but the payment went to the US instead. They called to tell me that they were going to transfer the payment because I would get a better interest rate in Canada.

After they worked all this out which only took about 30 minutes Rita gave me a tracking number for my package. I was told I would get my check through Fedex Express Delivery on the next day before noon.

They called the next morning to verify my address and conveniently had my zip code wrong. They had it as 37922 and I had them correct this. She went on to tell me that they would send me a gift card from Best Buy for 50.00 from their company for my trouble and I would get the check before 8pm.

I found this to be odd so I contacted Fedex and they stated they did not have a package to be delivered to me in their system. The tracking number that I was given was missing several digits. They stated that they dont even deliver after 7pm on any day whether it is reagular or express delivery.

I tried to contact the company too many times to count after this and could not get anyone. They are still there but the only way I can get them to answer is to use another name. Everytime I have got them on the phone and asked about my money they put me on hold and then disconnect.

I have done some research and their website www.colossuscredit.com was just created on Sept. 8, 2008.

I contacted my local police department,FBI,filed a complaint with Moneygram and contacted Phone Busters.
