I recieved a call on Aug 2, 2010 at a little before 8pm from a group identifying themselves as the National Recovery Agency.  They claim to be in collections for Columbia House DVD Club.

They further claim I owe columbia house $109.00 and that it would be reported to Experian Credit Agency.  They claim the bill is owed from a 2007 transaction.

No such transaction was made in any manner in 2007 and I haven't dealt with Columbia since before the year 2000.  
The collectors were very aggressive and insulting... and would not devulge any information to find out how the error was made.  My concern is that I saw where the company has been involved in this type of scam on several occaisions.  I plan on contacting the attorney general of Pa and Kentucky, but wanted to know how to procede.

Columbia House dvd club The wont answer phone calls, won't answer emails, wont refund me a movie I returned @ $25.94 they took it out of my account and never put it back when they recieved the movie back 6-7 weeks ago very, very ubhappy I have wasted 2 hours on my cell phone being put on hold.
