Comeback Treatment Center is a fraud!! There are NO licensed or certified counselors on staff and the place is filthy. Anaheim California

Comeback Treatment Center's Bart Allen claims he offers a myriad of services. He claims you have access to licensed therapists; he claims he has medical personnel on staff; he claims he has certified drug and alcohol counselors on staff; and he claims he does dual diagnosis. This is all crap. The staff working at Comeback are former clients who needed a place to live for sober living. They are not certified in anything and there are no licensed therapists on staff. His staff has nice people, but they are not qualified to be running a treatment center.

When I told one of the staff that I felt like cutting myself and I needed to speak with a licensed psychologist, I was told that Bart Allen said, "tell her to do the 12-steps of AA and she'll be fine." This was after I spoke with Bart, my husband spoke with Bart, and my counselor spoke with Bart telling him I could NOT be in a treatment center without access to a counselor. He assured me there was one on staff. It was a total lie.

Additionally, there is no family night or family therapy. You have morning meditation where you read the exact same passages from the Big Book of AA. Then, you go to an AA Meeting at night. By the way, AA is free. I paid $11,500 to go to free AA Meetings.

Finally, the place is filthy. The clients do the "chores" so he is leaving the cleanliness of the place up to recovering addicts/alcoholics. I personally killed five cockroaches in the kitchen and one in the bathroom along with a myriad of other little creatures crawling about the place. It is just disgusting.

Whatever you do, especially if you are a parent wanting to get treatment for your kid, DO NOT SEND THEM TO COMEBACK TREATMENT CENTER. It is the biggest ripoff there is. PLUS...Mr. Allen is not paying his staff so they are all about to walk out.
