Commercial Training Institute sells DVD programs by telephone, and enrolls in their seminars on Commercial Real Estate. I purchased the program to learn, and with hopes to work with a reputable company that had a good track record. It was my honest mistake to spend even a dime with them. They have offices in San Diego and Las Vegas, the BBB gives them an 'F' rating in both locations. In July of 2010, I attended their seminar in Los Angeles, that provided marginal benefit. It was mostly an opportunity to for the seminar providers to offer other products and pitch their overpriced coaching programs that are highly disappointing.

I attended with a business partner, and we purchased an internet marketing system called Speedlings, by Adam Ginsburg. Upon doing some research, that is another scam that benefits only the promoters of the product. I also signed up for CTI's coaching program, based on the representation of benefits outlined in the brochure, and the promises made by the sales person, and the sales manager. They price the program at an outrageous figure of $15k or $25k, then discount it to make you feel you are getting a good deal. The real stinger is when you go to implement the program. They say there are no guarantees, there is also no guarantee they will fulfill the items they promised verbally or wrote in the benefits flyer. I have filed reports with the BBB, the FTC, and am now working with an attorney to file small claims case. I would recommend to others stay away from these scam artists, spend your time on more productive matters. If more people relate their experiences, they will be out of business soon. To spend money and time on these crooks is truly a waste.
