Comnav Marine Ltd Will not replace auto pilot under warr.with proof of purchase and not willing to work with me to fix problem after spending over 4000.00 to buy the unit and its still under three year limited warranty Richmond, British Columbia Richmond Canada

I purchased an auto pilot on 1/5/2007 that has a three year warranty. I paid the dealer over $4000.00 for the item and installation so that I would be covered under the warranty and now that I have a problem, they ask me to fax a copy of the receipt and they gave me a RMA number to send it back to them for repairs and now they tell me that it's not covered under warranty because I purchased the unit from a business that was not a dealer. How was I to know they had them stock and different models as well. It sounds like a cat and mouse game to me.

After having filed this report the company did replace the unit under warranty its a shame it had to go this far to get the problem fixed.Thanks to everyone at comnav who helped with this matter Mr.Satish,Mr.Stanley and Mr.OM
