Compucredit, Inc This current employee hates the company she works for Atlanta Georgia

I actually work for Compucredit and there is some credibility to the complaints of some of the consumers and the FTC and FDIC. As an employee I am threatened and harrassed almost daily to make my collection goals BY ALMOST ANY MEANS NECESSARY with threats of termination echoing in my head.

I have two children and bills to pay so of course I don't want to lose my job but I am so disgusted with this place and their tactics that I have been praying for them to fire me for weeks now. At first I was afraid of being unemployed and having no or little income but I finally decided to let go and let God because I am not going to let them drive me to an early grave.

I just want to warn people who are considered "sub-prime" to research other ways to establish and maintain good credit and whatever you do stay away from Compucredit, Aspire Visa, Tribute Gold Mastercard, Aspen and Action cards. I have seen accounts opened last year for people in their eighties and nineties.

Now tell me really, what kind of income could people that age really have and then, they expect US to suggest that these people do whatever it takes to repay this loan even selling personal items so that this won't reflect badly on their credit.

What do they care about credit? Some of these people just wanted the card to pay for items not covered by income like disability or social security. Not to say that they intentionally ripped off the company but they saw an opportunity to have some extra money even if for a little while and they took it.

This place is bad business for its employees and some of its consumers. Avoid it like the plague. I can't wait to see the end of this place for the way they have treated me and so many of their employees who have gone out of their way try and make this piece of **** a success.
