WARNING: This company will rip you off. The Compurecovery division will hold your hard drive hostage until you pay them ranson money. Usually 5 - 10 times the price they originally quoted. The Compudirect division will take your money for a custom computer, and then send you a recycled Dell or other old PC with broken or cheap replacement parts. Save your money and avoid this company at all costs!
If you already got ripped off by this company, you may be able to get help from the Cleveland OH BBB, and the Attorney General's Office. And don't forget to post your experience on as many web sites as possible to warn others about CompuDirect. Always check the BBB or other reviews carefully before dealing with a company like this.

You know.... What's so rediculous about these sites is that they have serious warnings about people commiting FRAUD or commiting Defamation, Libel and Slander. However, most of them are supporting users to POST exactly what they are supposed to prevent, which is FRAUD!!! When it is brought to their attention, they do NOTHING about it!! Why not make the customer PROVE that they were wronged BEFORE allowing a complaint to be posted!!! With all of the complaints that our company have been DEFAMED and SLANDERED against, NO-ONE includes their Order# / Invoice# or Case#. The reason why they LIST IT, is because they AREN'T REAL CUSTOMERS!!!! We (CompuRecovery) have sent numerous emails to the Administration of Ripoffreport.com and among other sites that the person that is leaving these "slanderous" falsely led complaints is a previous employee that was terminated due to his criminal actions of stealing customer's information and credit information. This person will stop at nothing to post negative reviews about our company since he now has opened up his own DataRecovery company. We know who this person is and the company that he runs, but we are refraining from listing this information due to being professional about the matter. We have a legal staff working with us regarding these criminal postings and defamation. Just a small note to this website's Administrator, Defamation, Libel and Slander are legal offenses that need to be seriously dealt with. For your sake, make your site legitamite enough so that people get real reviews and not fake ones to build their own company!!!
