We went to a presentation not planning to buy. It sounded like it might be a good deal so we moved forward, but during the process we received a call from my brother-in-law that my husband's mother had just passed away.

Rather than offer us a ride back to our hotel they put the pressure on like you would not believe to get the papers signed and then would not take us back to our hotel until pictures were taken.  Needless to say we were in shock and couldn't function properly.

When things calmed down, they refused to purchase the property back, although they had guaranteed that they would if we changed our mind.

The free trips that we won, were basically useless, because although they said we could combine the free airfare with our time share, they lied.  To use them, the cost associated was more than what I can do on my own.

It has been a joke.  We did use the time share last year and got a good price on a condo in Hawaii, so that part was not bad, although, we could not book the week we wanted to go and had to book where they said we had to go, but the rest is just wrong.  We cannot refinance because no bank or finance company will touch it, so we are stuck with 16% interest.  We have been paying over 2 years and haven't even decreased the debt by the amount of our downpayment yet.

If there is going to be a class action lawsuit, we would like to join.  There is no reason to continue paying for something that we will probably not use that much because of all the restrictions.
