Consumer Credit Services, Inc (CCS) - 1st National Card

These people send you a merchant card with the illusion of helping you to re-establish your credit. This is NOT a credit card and they make that clear. They send you paperwork with $6500 credit limit but if you have a checking account they tell you your limit is $8500. The initial membership fee (supposedly one-time)is $199 and they take it from your checking account at an agreed upon time.

You aren't told about an annual $99.00 fee that they charge you a month or so after that...from your checking account unannounced. They send you 2 catalogs with few items the average person would want or need. They send you a web address that is supposed to allow you more to choose from to make you feel you've made a worthwhile selection but almost 4 months that web address has NEVER worked. I have never used or attempted to use the card yet there are fees and very limited items. As a matter of fact I can barely find any information on them on the web at all. The so-called shopping site address is www.ccsshoppinclub.com . It's a joke. Don't buy it!
