Consumer Direct Warranty Services - Mepco - Vehicle Services Inc. got a warranty to cover whole truck when it really covered nothing Saint Peters Montana

I bought a truck in may of 08' it is a F250 super duty with a 6.0L turbo diesel manual when i got the truck it can with a three month or three thousand mile warranty. When that one was up and i got a phone call in August about this warranty that they had for my truck i asked him what does it cover. he told me, "everything that is lubricated on your truck" so then i started to ask questions about it like what wasnt covered and how is it covered if something was wrong, he told me "if it is broken and in pieces not normal wear and tear its covered" so if anyone knows about diesels they are exspensive to fix so i wanted to make sure this was going to be worth my money. so then he asked me "is your truck factory" i replied "no" he then asked me "what has been done to it" i replied "i know that the tires are different and supension lift and i dont think the exhaust is ethier" he said "no problem we can just add that to ur plan" he told me i could pay $241 now and then $120.75 a month for 18 months and thats it. So then i asked him how long does this plan last for he told me seven years or a 100,000 mile more then what is on the truck currently. So to anybody that sounds awsome so i did it to save money if something brakes. While i only had 81,000 on my truck so it was covered till 181,000 or year 2015 sounds nice right?
While then i was driving home one day from work and shifted and heard a puff and then my truck shut down. While i brought it to a authorized dealer ship like the plan said to do. I gave all my info to the dealer like i was supposed to and they faxed everything they where supposed to. They told them they have to take the motor apart to make sure thats what is wrong "sorry my oil pump" the warranty place said this. i called them to m ake sure this was going to be covered before i let them tear my truck apart and then i am stuck with the bill. they said "as long as the part that needs fixing is in pieces it is covered" i then asked "how much of the bill will be coved" he replied "everything will be" and then they got back to them a week later saying they are sending an adjustor out to look at the truck. He came out then faxed the repair shop dening the claim and said because i had oversized tires on my truck. while it was supposed to be on the plan i went around in circle for two weeks trying to fix this they pulled the phone call amited that i did say that it was supposed to be on the plan and that the guy made a mistake. They then said that they will only pay $960 of a $2700 bill. so my truck has been in the shop for about five weeks now and still not fixed, and i already piad them 1500 out of that 2800 of a plan i got. Everytime I called them to get a answer they gave me another number to call and said i cant help you with that so i have about 15 different numbers i was supposed to call. No one had a answer for me and i had the run around for about three weeks and got no where.
Needless to say this place is a really big scam. I found out the hard way i could have fixed this my self for the cost of parts 1000 but i had the warranty that i thought covered it now i have to pay 2700. i just hope this helps people not sign up and hope the hell this helps to shut them down for good. So there is no more victims. This whole thing has been incredibly frustrating and ridiculous thanks for reading hope it helps you. Word to the wise when getting a warranty go to a dealership not a phone call.
