Consumer Wholesale Travel (CWT) Obnoxious, Fraud, Rip-off, Deceptive business in New York City by Mrs Mina Sanghvi New York New York

I booked 2 round trip tickets with Consumer Whole Sale Travel for $2900 from Orlando to Bangalore in the mid Sept 2003. Mrs Mina Sanghvi, the owner of CWT (Consumer Whole Sale Travel) booked tickets with Kuwait Airways. I checked the Airways for confirmation. All seats were confirmed. Then I mailed her a banker's check for $2900 dated Sept 30, 2003 thinking that she would send tickets the next week. Mrs Mina Sanghvi has received the check but didn't send any tickets for next 2 weeks. I called CWT to enquiry about the status of the tickets. She replied saying that order is out and I should be able to get the tickets next week. I called Kuwait Airways to verify our confirmed seats. They said that our reservation has been cancelled because they are all time limit tickets. Obviously Mrs Mina Sanghvi has not sent money and deposited the check safely in her account.

For the last 30 days, we have been calling her everyday with no use. It's now Nov 22, 2003. She lies constantly and blames airlines. She talks rude and nonsense. It's a mental torture. I sent more than 20 emails asking her to reply. She replied 3-4 emails at the most. She is a most obnoxious woman I met during my life so far.

Now we booked with other agent and asking her to refund our check. She hasn't refunded our checks yet. She is a big time liar and no moralities and ethics of the business.

I am still wondering, why the law of this land allow her to do the business. How could she do this kind of a business and not behind the bars?

I would do everything possible to stop this kind of a business and help others not to go through this kind of a torture,
