I too was scammed by this so called credit monitoring service. I signed up for the so called "free" credit report wich actually costs $5.00. After signing up I immediately sent an e-mail to cancel the monitoring service.
Well, to my dismay I saw a $9.95 charge on my credit card statement this month. Well I called and spoke with some lady who said there was no record of my e-mail to cancel the membership. She said she checked her records and found no e-mail from my address. I asked her how she knew what address I sent the e-mail from because I never gave the address. She than proceeded to tell me that if I was an educated consumer that I would have followed up with a phone call to confirm the cancellation. I spoke with her so called "supervisor" and he told me that they dont give refunds. He basically said that I should have called and confirmed too. I'm gonna tell everyone I can about this bogus scam.
