Continental Movers and Mega Transport Shipping Miki Sagrun Don't do business with Continental Movers or Mega Transport Bayonne , New Jersey

Contracted with Continental Movers to move my house contents from Ct to Florida.

They picked up the contents on the 11th of January. Damaged my carpets, damaged a wall and damaged the paint on the front door costing me $275 in cleaning, sanding, staining and re painting. They acted like thugs, totally crude, rude and obnoxious. Had real missgivings about letting them take my stuff. After everything was on the truck, they demanded cash,
and told me the price was twice what was quoted. Finally accepted my check, which cleared with no problem inspite of their paranoia.

They were to deliver the contents on Jan 22nd to Florida. They did not. They never even bothered to call me. I called them, and they told me that their truck broke down in Maryland.

I later learned from the actual driver that the contents were still in New Jersey, and had never left Continentals facilities. That he was told to lie to me to protect Continental. They then jobbed the delivery to Mega Transport, an outfit out of Aventura , Florida. Miki Sagrun.

Mr. Sagrun called and told me that the delivery would now be another 4 days, and that I had to give him cash or certified check before they would deliver my contents to me. I told him I want to inspect the items to insure there has been no damage or theft, he said I could not until I give them cash, I told him I only pay by check and that he had nothing to worry about that the check was as good as the one I used to pay on pickup.

They are refusing to deliver and at this point I consider it both extortion and theft. I have reported this to the Westport Police in Ct., the Bayonne, Nj Police, The Jacksonville FBI and the Chief of Police in Aventura Florida, but it is too soon to receive a reply.

What ever you do, do not trust continental movers they will lie cheat and steal from you.

At this point I have lost my belongings and any piece of mind I had.

If this is what you want, then go with their quotes of cheaper prices, and then getted robbed.
