I saw an ad online stating the man had two tea cup yorkies for free to a good home. I conversed back and forth through text messages and emails asking about the puppies and getting information on receiving one for a period of three days total. The first day he told me there would be a shipping charge of $200 from south Carolina to my home in Philadelphia,pa, I was hesitant but felt $200 for a tea cup yorkie was an amazing deal. I explained I was getting the puppy for my kids who just had their dog die suddenly on them to try to get them to stop being so sad. We texted back and forth a lot asking questions about the puppy and the home it would be going to he even thanked me for taking the puppy into a good home and prayed for God to bless me .

After he had told me he had sent the puppy I waited about 9 hours and then contacted him again and he said he would call the airline then I received an email and a phone call from the so called airline stating thecrate she was in was not appropriate for air travel and she would get sick and that they wanted to give her shots to keep her calm which would cost an additional $670 . I immediately contacted the man sending the puppy and told him and explained I really couldn't afford this one of my paychecks don't even come out to that. We conversed back and forth again until finally he said if I came up with $200 he would get the rest then called the airline and told them the situation and they agreed to hold and care for the dog for the two days until I could send the rest of the money but charge an additional $50 for caring for the puppy. I sent my portion of the money western union after the man told me he had already sent his portion. I contacted the man to tell him I sent the money and gave him the information and he said he was on his way there to check on the details and I told him to let me know what they say and when the puppy would arrive at my house. He responded he would and I haven't heard anything from him since despite all the text messages I have sent him and emails ti the airline. I am so worried now I can't afford a puppy for my poor kids,I am out $450 that I could not afford in the first place and my husband has no idea he's gonna kill me when he finds out how stupid I am. Please help me I don't know what to do

Your issue isn't with the pet transport company.  It's probably fake. Your problem is with the guy who scammed you. This is actually a pretty common scam, so I'm suprised you fell for it.

I discovered how mean people could be when I tried to sell some chihuahua puppies.  The potential "buyer" said he would arrange the transport, and would send me a check to cover the expense. I was to cash the check and send him any remaining funds.  Well, I figured something was up so I said that I would arrange transport.  That was the end of that conversation :-)

I'm sorry you got scammed.  Try the local dog pound for an adoptable puppy.
