Copperfield Estates Failed to provide services Houston, Texas

Copperfield Estates promises fine dining, weekly housekeeping and transportation.  Unfortunately, they do not deliver.

They are cutting expenses and as such do not have enough staff to do weekly housekeeping.  When I discussed this with management I was told "We are doing the best that we can".  "Staff does have time off".  They do not think it is their responsibility to provide services weekly if they do not have the staff.  It is the elderly residents responsibility or their family to provide this service. Also when questioned, they plead ignorance not knowing why they haven't had staff.  My mother has only had housekeeping 3 out of 6 weeks.  She had to go three weeks in a row before her apartment was cleaned.  "Please let us know when you do not get housekeeping"  Really, you don't know when you don't have staff?

If you have a loved one at Copperfield Estates, be sure to give them money to feed the driver.  The activity director will frequently drive your loved one to their doctors appointment.  She will then stop for a snack or meal.  You are then expected to pay for her meal which is very large as she orders lots to eat.  Even when she stops in your mother's apartment she helps herself to whatever may be out for her own personal use.

Management is horrible and not responsive.  If you put your loved in Copperfield Estates, you will need to make a minumum of a weekly visit to check on your family member because management will not be doing when they have been paid to do.
