Core Solutions Group: Unprofessional on Too Many Levels.

I recently responded to a sales job listing by Core Solutions Group based in Troy and Swartz
Creek, Michigan.  I live in California where they have no office. In this report I merely want to make known how unprofessional this company appears. I have no proof or suspicion that they are doing anything illegal. My impression is that they are a company whose business opportunity and services should be avoided.

I submitted an application and resume on their website after viewing their Business Opportunity Overview presentation. I felt the opportunity was right up my alley despite the fact that the presentation itself, which was similar to a PowerPoint, was of only average quality. I also had some unease in regards to the many written errors in the presentation. They couldnt spend a few hundred dollars to have it professionally proof read and edited?

Some mistakes were grade school caliber: watch there back instead of their.  This, in a presentation meant to entice quality sales people and prospective clients? I wondered if I was just being a bit nit picky since I had done copy writing as part of a previous job.

None the less, I proceeded to the next step and spoke to a sales manager named Don Gardner. He gave me the impression of just average competence as though he was hired more out of friendship with the companys President than his expertise. I found on LinkedIn (where neither had the foresight to post pictures of themselves wearing a suit) that they attended the same college. He asked me to sign a non disclosure agreement which he emailed me. I thought this was premature since I hadnt decided to proceed with their opportunity. That opportunity would cost me an investment of $475 which would be refunded after my first sale. I didnt think the investment itself was unreasonable, but I felt extra cautious considering what I saw as only average impressions.

Per Dons request, I reserved an official interview time on their website. A pop-up immediately confirmed that Don would call me at the reserved time.  In the interim I emailed a question to Don and was taken aback that he replied for me to call him at the appointment time and hed review the question then. Call him? Since when does the interviewee call the
interviewer? I saw this as yet another unprofessional red flag.

I discussed with Don Gardner that before I decided to come on board I needed to confirm that I was not going to discover any surprises after I invested my $475. He said he understood completely and so I requested a packet of physical sales materials that would be left with a prospective client. He said hed email me some PDF files and I said no, that I wanted physical materials that I could hold in my hands such as a folder with brochures and an employees business card inserted. He seemed reluctant but said hed get it to me. I even repeated the request in an email to him with my address.  Contrary to my request, the next day I received emailed PDF documents. Apparently he considered my two requests unreasonable.

The final straw was the brochures, or should I say, PDF brochures. In contrast to the  appealing layout, I was astonished and dismayed that the listed information for their green energy program had the full spectrum of errors, i.e. misspellings, punctuation errors, wrong word(s), omissions, et al.  How could I in good conscience leave such an upolished piece with a prospective client? As further confirmation, I showed it to a successful business owner friend of mine who said hed throw that brochure in the trash and would refuse to consider the services of  such a company demonstrating such a lack of skill in putting together a brochure.  Im not going to list all the errors here; since I dont do editing for free, but I would like to point out that its spelled infrared analysis, not infared! I found over 14 errors in just one tri-fold brochure.

In summing up, I can only suggest what any reasonably educated person would conclude upon review of Core Solutions Groups unpolished written materials and a discussion with their barely competent sales manager: Core may or may not offer a worthwhile service and opportunity.  That service and opportunity will automatically be suspect in light of their many unprofessional characteristics. Im stunned that apparently no one at Core is detail oriented to have addressed
the few points (out of many) Ive listed in this report. As a result, Core Solutions Group will never know how many quality sales people or prospective clients theyve lost.

At CORE, we take complaints very serious and wanted to have an opportunity to address a recent posting on rip-off report.  We believe the individual who posted went through our initial hiring /screening process. After reviewing some information from our firm, he brought to our attention that there were some typos on our literature.  CORE has many marketing pieces that  have been created over the years and some our outdated or no longer used.

Secondly, he asked for things that we only offer once we have approved someone to join our firm. More importantly, he was never hired to be apart CORE therefore has no basis to critique how CORE operates.

On a broader scale, we screen /interview hundreds of applicants each month and have grown a national sales force that expands all throughout North America.  We go through great lengths to make sure we offer a world class business and sales opportunity backed by first class sales materials and collateral.  I think one can take a look at our website at www.coresolutionsgroup.net and would agree we put in time on our brand and image.

Furthermore, we also offer a world class training and coaching program  to support our growing advisor base that has been a key driver in securing over $150,000,000 in savings for our clients.  CORE operates its company under these four pillars:  Integrity, Vision, Service and Success. Lastly, if you look on our website at www.coresolutionsgroup.net you will notice that one of the largest companies in the world, (ZURICH) decided to partner with CORE after doing much due diligence on us.

If you would like to learn more about CORE and or the incredible sales opportunities we offer, email:kpelch@coreadvisors.net or dpg@coreadvisors.net

Sincerely,

Terry Judge
