Coreco Ent scam, liars, fraudulent, sneaky, Nationwide

This company, CORECO ENT, offered to give a credit card with a limit of $3000, to help you build up your credit. They even mentioned Equifax, and that they will GUARANTEE that your credit report will go up 300 points in 30 days.

Being very sceptical I asked all the right questions. I made sure that the credit card was a normal credit card, not one that can only be used with certain catalogues. They GUARANTEED again that it was a normal credit card that could be used anywhere.

They were of course charging a fee for this credit card, because they target people with low credit scores. The fee was $300. They said they would need bank account numbers so they could withdraw the money. At this point, I decided to think about it.

In a few days, I decided to call back and ask more questions. They gave the same information: The card could be used anywhere, and would help build your credit. So, I decided to do it.

It took several weeks for them to take out the money. After calling them several times to ask them when the money was coming out, I asked them to please stop the transaction. I had changed my mind. They said they would do their best to stop the transaction, but could not guarantee this. The very next day the money was taken out of my account.

Now 2 months later, I still have no credit card. I tried calling several times to ask what was going on. No one will return my calls any more. The number I have is simply an answering service with a promise that, "someone will call you back as soon as possible". After talking to a manager of this "answering service", he informed me that they have been receiving hundreds of phone calls with people complaining that no one will call them back. That tells me that hundreds of people are complaining.

I now have had to close my bank account, so they cannot take anymore money. My bank's hands are tied, and there is nothing they can do.
