Cortez Towing Scam Unfair Towing Scam pricing Riverside California

This company tows from a lot that has been ok to park in for 15 years. It has long been known that the lot is open after 6pm. Poor signage and NO No Parking signs make this a perfect hit. They charge you an extra 70 dollars to pick up the car the same night. In one night within 25 minutes, I conversed with 6 different individuals who had their cars towed. They towed my car incorrectly, It had a club and should have been flatbedded, and they told me it was, however the paperwork said differently. The company Threatened to not give my car back. That they didn't have to release it to me.

Cortez Towning is incahutes with the owner of the Life Arts Building on University in Riverside. Any tows from this poory marked lot should also be signed against the owner of that building as well.

This crooked towing company also is misleading. Their address and phone number are at two different locations. Their second location is an Auto Body Shop. Always beware when a Tow company owns a body shop as well. Nothing like hacking the cars you have stolen.
