Costume Disguises.Com, CostumeHut.Com DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! NEVER RECEIVED PRODUCT! THEY SHOULD BE CLOSED DOWN! Ripoff Brossard Quebec Canada

THIS COMPANY IS A SHAM!!! I placed an online order from CostumeDisguises.com AKA CostumeHut.com on 9/22/05 & chose the "within two weeks" option for delivery. My credit card was charged 9/27/05. On the 14th day, I tried calling them but their voicemail directs you to their email address. I have emailed them a total of 4 times & it has taken them a full 72+ hours to write back every time. The company said that the item is on back order & they will send it out as soon as possible. I, of course, wrote back (waiting 72+ hours for a response?!?!) asking why I wasn't notified in the beginning that I was on a waiting list to no avail. Their website didn't say the item was out of stock nor was I notified in a timely manner.

It has been a month now (so much for the "within 2 weeks" option!). I also requested they ship the item when it is in (definitely before 10/21/05 or forget it) overnight at no cost to me. Their response? They don't ship overnight...which is a blatant lie! I know because "overnight" was an option when I placed the order! I asked that my email be escalated to a manager but have not received a response...go figure! I have called my credit card company & they have issued a stop payment to the company.

Do yourself a favor..DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! I wish I would have researched/found your site before I placed this order. Now my son is without the costume for his 1st Halloween that I HAD to have because 7 people in our family are dressing as Star Wars characters. He was to be Yoda & they do not sell this costume at local stores. The costume is sold out everywhere else. I had my heart set on it.

Don't be deceived by their extensive website & false delivery promises. They should be shut down & I will spread the word everywhere to warn people of their deceptive practices.
