Cowan Systems lease purchase program is a joke first of they dont own the trucks they belong to paclease which is peterbilt and kenworth leasing company. They just play middle man put you and a truck you haul a lot of there customer freight for .90 cent a mile and fs. They have a break down and a big rig magazine were you can make up to 1400 - 1500 this will never happen because you are always hauling 40000 - 46000  so majority of your money will go to fuel and expenses. But far as the truck go  lets say you reach your 4yr term with this 130000.00 truck they offer you additional financing for 2yrs because the 4 yrs dont cover all the cost. Well doing the math you can buy your own truck and 3yrs top going through on lot financing. They also tell you no force dispatch but when u call a driver with one load and not variety all the time what you call that then when you refuse they always say they dont have anything else. The Vp of the program is a paper truck driver drove a truck for one year and couldnt handle it but will tell you what and how you should run the truck  and if you dont run 600 miles everyday will cancel your contract because your not productive a enough if you cant do what you expecting out of a driver dont expect the driver to do the same. Here is the break down:

2800 miles * 1.38 =3864.00 Gross
Fuel = 2000.00 roughly
tractor expenses 1000.00 roughly paclease have an 8 cent mileage for maintenance
net 864.00
Looks good dont forget taxes 25% 216.00
now you have 648.00
Dont forget you have to eat the high $ road food 150.00 weekly
now you have 498.00 from 3864.00

Anybody know and business your profit should equal your expenses or be above your expenses to all drivers who are looking to get and a lease purchase dont waste your time because its to benefit the company and not the driver and always remember numbers look good on paper but crunch your numbers.
