Cozy Home Rentals Harassment after the fact .. when court did not grant them any money they found other ways to harass my family TOPEKA Kansas

When they realized they were renting to educated tenants they began to practice dishonest means of extortion.

Upon moving into home we found several very serious issues that could only be discovered while living there. They would refuse to even return calls in regards to repairs. Also they would lie stating they came by but we were not home even though I would not leave the home at all waiting for them to come. These issues quickly turned into several rude threatening text messages from management and when we would make attempts to meet with them to resolve issue they would be unavailable.  

After several attempts at extortion they served an eviction on us. The judge pointed out some dishonesty immediately on their part and said he would not grant them any money but has to grant them the property.  So their way of "getting even" was to serve our family member whom is also a tenant with a letter stating that if we were to visit them they would call the police and evict them. Odd because there was absolutely no confrontation or reason for such threats. 

Very dishonest and true definition of slum lords. I have not yet heard a positive thing about the management of cozy homes.  Renters beware!!!!
