Initially, I paid on time, then had two deaths in family, so behind one payment. years later (yes years later while paying on time) - still owed the payment..lingering but CPS could not do anything about unless I fell less -even after 2 years CPS still wouldn't put that one payment at end of contract cause of deaths!! WOW, GREED & they can if they wanted.  anyhow I paid - unfortunately had a bad blow out, wasn't my fault just happen, but my insurance company paid off, gap insurance paid jackbeep (i paid more @ dealer for nothing), well is in claims, now CPS should know this and no they still RACKING UP MORE INTEREST on that payment & current payment which I shouldn't owe since accident.  Anyhow, waiting for settlement, tried scheduling payments which told CPS have to be very small but I will pay - they are RATZ and REFUSED MY PAYMENT plan- how stupid, then the harrassing calls, twice a day, calling me names, threating me to pay, oh I talked crap back, I know SOME CA Collection rights - CPS should accept something and I tried setting up payments, and they would laugh and say in CA we can do anything we want and will garnish your wages, constant stress.  Well several calls to our HR dept now stressing her out, they faxed her my personal finance papers, then back calling me MIND YOU THIS IS NOW 1.5 YRS since claim paid from accident.  I did through out year pay two small payments.  Maybe I shouldn't of.  Now have Attorney and hopefully have case, record everything, get #'s, names and how they announce themselves.  I ran credit and says charge off so if charge off why are they calling me at all?? WRONG should of been sold to collection agency... strange huh.. I sent FOUR! FOUR MIND YOU certified letters of them not to call me @ work - today 11.19.09 some Jeffery Carruth calls and laughing haha can we call you @ work-  then said my boss in office, your number and name so can call you back... yea right, then I said you people are really ignorant, I sent four certified letters NOT TO CALL ME @ WORK he laughs well look who we are dealing with, I said I sent small payments and if YOU LOOKED At paperwork is in writing I tried to set up payments and now I have counsel.

TOTAL JERKS!!  my health is off charts and if I die, my family will follow up on case with them.  They can cause a person to lose their job, then what? makes no sense and they have no sense.   Every dog has their day & this company will.     ANYONE call  Krohn & Moss, Ltd. Go ahead, just continue making your excuses for not paying your bills.  Get still another repo...complain rather than live up to your word to abide by the contract.

You and your subprime mentality brought you to this. 

Get out the sign and wear it proudly..."SUBPRIME LOOSER...SUBPRIME FOR LIFE".

untill you deal with this company, you have no clue. they are demonds and harassed everyone around me even after my loan was paid off so untill you  actully deal with them keep your mouth shut.

CPS CAN STILL GO TO H*L*- WON MY CASE... ALTHOUGH

Krohns & Moss Attorneys, were diligent and case settled and those Monkeys off my back - I owe 1500 still they refuse to toss out, but so what the POINT IS the harrassment!!  Their practices are disgusting and others in CA need to fight back - still makes no sense to me when I was paying something and they refuse - better something than nothing and I always paid on time accept one payment behind from family emergency.  CPS will always be RATZ and I feel sorry for whomever works there.   I will never give them a cent, yea my credit more damaged but me paying them will not improve it either - harrassment is serious & affected my health, caused embarrassment at work and unnecessary!!!   Peace & people learn and look at company's reputation, if I would had the chance to research on my cellphone back when first got loan I would of ran and never signed.  Again, my car was paid off from accident accept a payment that lingered and paid on time, no matter CPS treats you like your a criminal & degrade you and you shouldn't be if your trying to pay a DEBT!...

Harassment.State law prohibits debt collectors collecting or attempting to collect a consumer debt by using obscene or profane language (CC Section 1788.11(a)). Federal law states that a "debt collector may not engage in any conduct the natural consequence of which is to harass, oppress, or abuse any person..." and also prohibits the use of obscene or profane language to the hearer or reader. (15 USC Section 1692d(2)). A collection agency or its employees must not threaten to do anything that it cannot legally do. It cannot damage your property or physically injure you or others (CC Section 1788.10).

I HAVE ALL MY DOCS IN ORDER YOU LAME BRAIN... REASON MY HEALTH AFFECTED, STRESS FROM HARRASSING UNNECESSARY CALLS, ABUSIVE, THIS IS FROM A CLOSED LOAN & SMALL REMAINING BALANCE THAT YOU IDIOT, I MADE SOME PAYMENTS BUT THESE KNUCKLEHEADS REFUSED!! YOU TAKE WHAT YOU CAN ESPECIALLY THE WAY THINGS ARE NOW & I HAVE A JOB & RAISED TWO CHILDREN ON MY OWN...  YOU HARRASS ANYONE YOU WILL LOSE, NOW CPS AIN'T GETTING JACKSHIT AND NOW I HAVE A LAWSUIT, I DONT CARE ABOUT $$ I WAS MAKING GOOD THEY ARE RATZ & SHOULD OF SETTLED FOR THE SMALL PAYMENTS -

I CARE ABOUT THESE BAD BUSINESS PRACTICES NEED TO STOP!!  THEY WOULD ONCE SOMEONE WALKED IN OFF THE CHARTS AND DECIDED TO SHOOT UP A PLACE, THESE PEOPLE ARE ADDING MORE STRESS INSTEAD OF WORKING OUT SMALL PAYMENTS... GETTING SOMEONE FIRED-CALLING EVERYDAY, THREATENING ISN'T A SOLUTION!!! DUH!!!  YOU MUST BE WORKING FOR CPS.   I MAY NOT WRITE THE BEST, BUT MY PAPERWORK IN ORDER - ALL MAILED CERTIFIED, YOUR THE ONE MIXED UP.   GO FIND SOMETHING BETTER TO DO.. WHAT'S YOUR COMPLAINT? WHY ARE YOU EVEN ON THE SITE UNLESS YOU WERE RIPPED OFF OR HARRASSED?         PRAY

Convoluted!

I read your posting several times trying to make some sense out of it.  What it seems to be is you are making excuse after excuse for NOT making your payments on time and then you get upset because they begin their collections efforts.  Then you claim all the health issues are because of them!  No, all this you brought on yourself.  Make your payments on time.  Get a part time job or another full time job to meet YOUR OBLIGATIONS.
