 We hired Lakeshore Construction Solutions(now Lakeshore Custom Outdoors) to put an addition on our house. Their quote was right where we needed it to be and they promised a timeline that was just about perfect. They required us to pay 1/3 upfront for a total of $11,660.75. After we played them, communication dropped off and they finally returned our calls almost a month after the scheduled start date. They claimed winter got in the way and we would start as soon as the ground thawed. They finally showed up in April, 5 months later. They dug a large hole for the foundation and damaged the outside of our house, which they promised to fix. They also presented us with a timeline for the project. The prints were given to us and upon review we found several errors. I asked him to fix their errors(who wants a closet in the garage?) and to give us correct plans. 2 weeks later they gave us updated plans, which were wrong again. I explained them to what exactly we wanted again and we were reassured that they would not fail to produce correct plans. The final plans came out and we failed to realize that they have mistakenly added 30 inches to the backside of our house. Due to this error, our bathroom plans had to be scrapped. After the final day on the timeline was not hit, I complained about the time this whole process had taken. 7 months later, all we had was a concrete slab. The next day, they showed up and informed us that they we no longer working for us and pulled out of our job, completely breaching contract. Craig told us that the unused portion of our down payment would be returned. He said the concrete work was $10,303 dollars so we would only be given back $1,300. We have not seen a dime. After our last conversation, Craig has changed the company name and doesn't return our emails anymore.
