I bought a Scamp travel trailer off of Craigslist on 1-21-16. the seller called themselves Ashley Harris and claimed that she worked for Nabors Drilling Co. and had the trailer in Redding, CA. and needed to sell it to pay a back mortage payment for her mother. She claimed that it would be delivered and I would pay for the gas. This seller had me pay for the trailer using Ebay gift cards and had a fake Ebay invoice sent with instructions and a phone number (((REDACTED))) that answered and acted like ebay. They asked for the invoice #. On the paper it claimed that the payment was insured and would be held until the merchandise was delivered. Now when I call I only get a recording that they are busy with other customers - That phone # was supposedly Ebay. The phone # for the seller was (((REDACTED))) and she claimed that she could only text back since her phone wasn't working.
