Just thought you people might be interested in hearing about my first experience at Crave Rest. & Lounge in Fairfireld, NJ. I checked my coat at their coat check after waiting about 10 mins for the coat check girl to appear. I gave her my coat and got a ticket. So far so good...well other then having to wait.

Well at closing a went to retrieve my coat and surprise surprise it was nowhere to be found. The coat check girl didn't seem to know what to do so she fetched a bartender to handle this matter. I asked to speak to the manager and I was told there was no manager on duty and was assured this matter would be resolved tomorrow. He seemed sincere and I took him on his word.

Strangely, after having to have to wait so long for the valet to bring the car around(over a half hour) I went inside because it was like negative 10 with the windchill and I was wearing a short sleeve shirt with no coat. There were 2 woman demanding to speak to the manager because they said they were waiting an hour for their car. All of a sudden there was a manger on duty and he was drinking a beer. I explained the situation and he smile and said "I don't know what to do"

To make a long story short they are refusing to compensate for my coat and I've filed a Civil Suit against them. I just think you should be aware that you might have a similar experience. On a positive note the Lounge had a nice environment and if you don't loose your coat or wait forever for your car than you may have a nice time.
