Almost a year ago I tried to sell my tahiti village timeshare with Universal Marketing Solutions with a man called Jay Bernard and 6 months went down the road with my $1300 down the toliet. I have charged back my credit card from my Amex and fortunately got my money back but then a couple weeks ago I got a call from another group of scammers called Creative Vacation Solutions. I told them there spiel and pitch sounded the same as UMS and hung up on them.

I did some research on the internet and found out that one of the owners of UMS Jennifer Kirk her relative owns Creative Vacation Solutions and also found out that the Department of Agriculture has put a cease and desist on Creative Vacation Solutions and slapped a huge fine on their a*s. Whatever you do do not pay or give out your credit card to Creative Vacation Solutions!!! http://www.sun-sentinel.com/business/sfl-flzteledig03280sbmar28,0,4082992.story

Timeshare NIGHTMARE!!!

AUTHOR: Satisfied Customer - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, April 01, 2009

I usually dont get involved in this sort of thing because unfor im a negative thinker and always think this small effort of venting online will not get us justice, but i have to say that before anyone else gets ripped off by Universal, (they got me) or any other timeshare scam, #1 Make sure they actually SELL timeshares (this service does exist) Not just LIST timeshares!!! u can do this yourself through the pennysaver!! After two years of trying to get my $$ bk from 2 diff companies, I gave up. then creative vacations called me and i gave them the blues, but i learned something that day, i paid those other companies to do exactly what they sd they would do, List my timeshare, although they led me on to believe that there was someone interested in purchasing which was a lie!!! a guy named Alex from creative called and gave the spill on how they are different and blah, blah, blah!! i hung up, he never called back. once i saw the commercial on t.v, it actually had me wondering is it even possible to get out of the worst investment of my life. YES IT IS!! Im sick of paying for smthg i Never and in most cases Cant use. I called the resort and they explained of course i can sell my timeshare, they just dont do it. So about 2 wks later i called creative and sd im seriously interested, they explained the process and once again i let them charge my card for $1287. i felt like a fool and didnt tell my sister about my third desperate attempt because i was embarassed. they sd there was a buyer and we would close the deal in about 60 days. i just knew my $$ was gone after about 75 days but they contd to call and give me updates so i held on to a lil hope.

about 3months later they called after a bad day at work and i let him have it. after i was done he sd congratulations, your timeshare sold. i hung up thinking i have been got for the third time and i cant blame anyone but myself. I never expected to hear from him again until i recvd papers about the close of the sale. although it took longer than they sd it would, Creative REALLY sold my timeshare. buying a timeshare was the 2nd worst investment of my life, getting married was the first!! im just finally glad that this nightmare is over and for me at least, it was a positive outcome. Good Luck to anyone dealing with this issue.
