I truly do hate that this has happened to you. I use to work for the company, and quickly realized they were just running a scan. But you are so true, about karma. I couldn't wait until karma shinned it's face into that company; because of their customer service, or should I say lack there of, the company is quickly losing all of it's employees, and owners have split up, and they will soon be going out of business. I understand that will never replace all the money and time you put into the money, but at least, they'll be closed where they don't have to scam people anymore.

Basically, nobody needs a company like Clear Debt Results anyway. The only thing we would do is call your creditors, and find out how much to settle the account, that actually something you can do on your own, without paying somebody else to do it for you. Just call the credit department, and let them know your trying to settle your debt, and ask them to please help you. Generally, they will; they would rather have some form of payment from you...just ask, and they will work with you. But don't waste your money on Clear Debt especially trying to resolve your debt issues. I wish you the best of luck!

Clear Debt Results responded and we were able to come to an amicable conclusion. I have learned a lot from this experience, number one and the most important is to track credit cards carefully.

I was a victim of identity theft but was too naive to believe it could happen to me and now there is absolutely no way I can prove myself. The second is try to resolve the debt yourself if at all possible. Do a lot of research for your particular state regarding laws that creditors are supposed to abide by.

Do not be intimidated by collectors, they can't help it if that is the only thing they are qualified to do. Finally, if you have a problem be the screech that gets the oil.
