First Approval Benefits fraudulent credit card, re-establish credit, ripoff Champlain New York

I recieved a phone call from these people at "First Approval Mastercard" on October 10, 2003. I gave up all my information (stupid me) including my social security number and drivers license number in addition to my bank information.

On October 17, 2003 an ACH withdrawl of 299.00 was recorded. I waited for 4 weeks, nothing. I began to try and contact this "company". All numbers were disconnected or changed which led me to an answering service. The answering service was really rude. They claimed that the company did not have a phone number to be reached at. How can a company that issues credit cards not have a customer service number?

November 10, 2003. I receive a brown manila envelope with flyers for other cards, an application for an employer deposit card, and a letter stating that my card should arrive within 25 days. I knew this was garbage so I proceded to use the flyers to start my fireplace. Finally I found "rip-offreports.com". I see that I'm not the only one that got the shaft.

As of December 10, 2003 I have not received anything from them. My further attempts were futile and got me nowhere but fustrated. I went to my bank and hd it straightened out. I'm getting my 299.00 dollars back thankfully, but I know that some people are not going to be as lucky as me.

If anyone out there knows of a class action lawsuit being filed againist the company, please contact me by using the rebuttal box. Hopefully, justice will get to them before I do.
