My credit card statement from Orchard Bank had an erroneous charge for creditkeeper services. I never agreed to this service, either by phone or by a written statement, I never signed an agreement for this service. I have tried numerous times to get this removed from my card and I fully expect to have the charges reimbursed to me. I have contact my credit card, by phone and by mail. I have tried to contact Creditkeeper by phone to no avail. I have written Creditkeep numerous times also with no response except to have the same monthly charge on my credit card statement.

If this situation does not get resolved I will be forced to cancel my credit card and take this matter to the Better Business Bureau and the Illinois Attorney Generals office. This is a complete and utter terrible invasion of my rights that has not been resolved by either the credit card co nor creditkeeper.

Not a Ripoff

AUTHOR: Jonathan - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, November 11, 2008

I have used MyCreditKeeper.com for years, and have found it to be a great service for a great price. I've searched the internet for similar solutions and had no luck finding a better service for $10.

I've actually had four separate accounts with this company. I initial signed up with one for myself, and then signed up my girlfriend as well. We were monitoring our reports and scores to buy a new car, and this site allowed us to get updated reports and scores on-demand once a month.

The only experience I had that wasn't stellar was when I needed to change my billing account. I did have to hold for 45 minutes, but the representative was a very pleasant older woman afterward. She informed me that I would have to cancel my current accounts, and open new accounts with the new billing information. Simple enough.

I had no problems creating the account on their Web site; in fact, I never had to contact them other than changing my billing information. Once I found out that I just had to cancel the existing account and create a new one things went smoothly.

The second time I had to change my billing information I simply sent them an email and the account was cancelled within a few days. The fees for the current month's service was also credited back to my billing account at that time.

The original commenter must have had a bad experience, and was not satisfied with their customer service experience. This does NOT consistute them as a Ripoff of any kind, as my story concludes.
