I am writing today to explain my issues with the Cricket service I have received in the past 10 months.

I have had my service for 10 months now and it is getting worse day by day. The first issue I had was because they printed my mailing address wrong. The sales rep was nice enough to fix that and not charge me a late fee for not paying on time. Then I asked him about removing the lame cricket logo from my screen and he did it for free.

I thought this might be an ok company....Later when I washed my phone I replaced it through cricket. The insurance plan worked, but my phone 8 months later had been discontinued. I was told I would receive a refurbished phone in 2 weeks and was given a loaner until then (the phone was like an early 90's model).

That phone lasted 2 weeks and the charging insertion point would not accept charge. I took it back and the guy looked at me like I was pulling a fast one, but still offered me another phone. This is where it gets interesting...He never logged it in to the computer that I received a new phone that day and I had no idea that it would matter, until today. I had an issue with the phone he gave me.

The face plate had a glitch in it that made it read backwards and half screened. I went back today and asked to replace it, they charged 10$, and I explained it was my third phone and the refurbished one they gave me was defective..; they said pay or keep the phone. I paid 10$ reluctantly and asked if they could remove the cricket logo...they said another 10$....I replied with the history I had before and the sales rep said it was not me, 10$. I said Ok, but can I put anything on the screen I want. he said Sure.".

So I said Put 'Cricket f%^$ing sucks'." I was told to leave right after that. I asked for the manager at that point and he was brought out. The manager said that their policy is to remove you if you become violent or use profanity at the employees. I told him it was not at the employee, but more at my phone. He did replace my phone, but would not customize my screen even when I asked to just put it down without the profanity. So much for the old saying The customer is always right.

That is why I'm writing today. I was given a number to call to voice a complaint (402)573-2240. It is a voice recording telling you to place a complaint and they will get back to you. What a joke, is cricket ripping everyone off like this?

I urge everyone to call these numbers a tell them the consumer is right and they are performing at a substandard fashion.

Also if there are addresses that I can contact district reps and regional reps for the Omaha Midwest area I would appreciate it

Thanks for giving me a platform to vent on.
