After signing up for a 30-day "free trial" at www.GotCarWash.com, I found that the service wasn't for me. So, before my trial was over, I called my account. Several months later I got a call from "GotCarWash" and was told that I owed them for 4 months of service. I explained to the representative that I had cancelled my account during the "Free Trial", and was told that they "had no record of my cancellation." We went back and forth for a while - nothing was resolved.
Several months later, an "unpaid debt" for this account shows up on my credit report. The collection agency is, "Crowne One Network, Inc." which suspiciously links to "www.GotCarWash.com" from their website. This suggests that the two companies are related, and their business model is dependent on "having no record" of people canceling their service, than sending them to collections.
Now, thanks to this company's fraudulent activities, my credit report is screwed until I can get this removed.
Hope I can warn others off. Bugger.
