CRST website has a space for driver opertunities, particularly ace division! Well as far as i can tell, it is for a team to run strictly air freight and says will be preplanned up to 3 loads in advance, with potential earnings of up to $7,800.00 per week.
Sounds to good to be true? IT IS!!!! my wife and i both quit jobs that we went home each day,and had excellent benifits sutch as free health ins.
i had a cdl already, so i leased a truck from crst that nused 24 gallons of oil in 10,000 miles!! They finaly tore up that contract and gave me a diferant truck and contract. i ran from nov. to dec. in that oil drinker! while my wife went to their so called truck driveing school! 2 weeks of cram all class a cdl info in your head.
She got her class a cdl and we are paying $2,550.00 for the school and room for her to stay in each day while in school. CRST takes it out of our pay settlements at $50.00 per week. I trained my wife in the 2nd. lease truck we climed into on christamas day. 2008
We average about 2500 to 3000 miles every other week,and each other week we get 1500. these are not acurate miles. and do not include deadhead that we dont get pay for. and the backhaul lengths are about 1000 to 1500 miles and pay is so low that we end up with $100 or $150 our pay, one of those backhauls made us owe $40 and all the backhaul freight is "to get you guys to a better freight area"
The lease purchase is a complete failure to this husband and wife team that used to have cell phones, they have been cut off. we cant afford it! we lost our timeshare that used to seem cheap! we cant go home cause they say there is no freight in that area. closest they get us is 300 mile deadhead for hometime! then deadhead from home 300 miles to a load that dont pay good at all!
I could go on,but if this hasnt convinced you to steer clear of CRST than you must be homeless and have no bills. our pay is less than minimum wage!!!
ACE DIVISION? everyone at CRST acts like they have no idea what im talking about!!
