Curt Hennings Suspected Puppy Mill, Dishonest/unethical Breeding Wausau Nebraska

Curt Hennings KNOWS the lines he is breeding has a devastating genetic defects in it. We experienced a case of megaesophagus which killed our beloved 1.5 year old Lhasa mix purchased from Henning in Feb 2006.

There have been reports of other major organ failing in his dogs. Any "breeder" with scruples would spay/neuter the line and discontinue their breeding program but NOT Curt he just continues going after the almighty dollar.


Magnus as we called him was too large to be either of the breeds he supposedly was- Maltese/Lhasa Apso.

I called Mr. Henning the day Magnus was diagnosed with Mega E, stupidly believing he surely might be interested in knowing his line was tainted and our vet had advised we call and let him know. She said the line should be spayed/neutered-any breeding program should cease.

Through my tears, I explained the disorder- how Magnvs could barely eat and anot at all withought suopy food in an uncomfortable head straight up position. I told Curt this was GENETIC. Maybe he didnt get it.. because I see he is still offering dogs all over the internet and the idiot did not recognize my name or my voice when I called him back to double check he was telling people about the horrific possibility of various organs failing and megaesophagus. (He was not, of course!!! He played it down and said they were otherwise healthy. Major Renal problems and ESOPHAGuS issves but they are healthy puppies?! unfortunately lies like these are devastating not only to the dog who must endure intentionally bred painful defects but also, your entire family who grows to love the dog.

I havent stopped crying since last summer when Magnus developed his mysterious illness which in the fall of 2007, would reveal itself to be a fatal case of megaesophagus. My husband has cried. Our parents. Our other pets are devastated and havent been the same since we finally had to euthanize him shortly before CHRISTMAS!!! Hope you had a very merry one btw Curt, you jerk! It was the worst Christmas of my entire life.

It drained our pocketbooks nearly 4K in vet bills and our hearts. Curt also, offered us another dog. I asked him why I would want one that would only break ourhearts and cost us tons of cash in the end? Ignorant Curt could not answer.

Curt: You gave Magnus and his siblings and all the dogs you are breeding after him a death sentence. Magnus was only nearly age 2.

It is not fair for the dogs or the families who give them loving homes. Quit breeding for everyone's sake!

We have our eyes on you and as soon as there are applicable laws to apply to you in your state, we will engage the proper authoritiesto enforce them and save the animals suffering at your hands. I will also, never tire of letting people know about the horrible line you breed...since you oddly dont feel that is your responsibility as an ethical "breeder" .

You havent earned the right to be called a breeder btw. That would suggest you have some intelligence about creating life. You are really a destroyer and a very ignorant one at that.

I hope you and your accomplice wife can sleep at night knowing the suffering and agony you are causing.
