February of 2011 I was contacted by Custom Merchant Solutions about starting a Home-Based business with them. I would be trained to seek referrals from Mom and Pop stores in my state of Louisiana to provide merchant account services.

I was asked to invest into an email list of potential candidates that this company had for sale. This list comprised of targeted businesses in which were actively seeking merchant account services. I would be provided with a website that would help facilitate more visitors to sign up for these services.

After investing $12,000 for this email list that would get blasted to get sign-ups quickly, I was then contacted by an advertising company, also located in Arizona, to do all the advertising and selling of prospective candidates to this merchant account service provider company. I had to invest another $3000.00 for their services as well. I would begin to receive 1% of all sales from their credit and debit card terminals every month from every customer that signed up through my affiliate/agent number. I was guaranteed these commission checks would start in 60 to 90 days after advertising campaign began.

When I started calling the home office to ask about getting my free training, no one would ever answer the toll free telephone number provided to me. When I starting questioning the advertising company about my monthly commission checks, and why I had not received any, I was referred back to the toll free number of Custom Merchant Solutions.

I filed a complaint with the Attorney General's Office of Arizona in April, 2011, seeking damages from this company because they failed to provide adequate support, training, and any sales from this email list they required me to buy. In June, 2011, I received notice from the Arizona Attorney General's Office that no further investigation would be given from their office, due to lack of man power and/or insufficient  evidence of work doing.

It is now June 30, 2011, and I still have not been able to reach this company by phone, by mail or by any other means. I have not received any commission income from any services they claim they provide. The advertising company has also neither provided any customers or any commission checks as well.
