CVS Pharmacy Store would not fill Prescription but said to go down the road to their other store. Tallahassee Florida

This all started when I went to refill a prescription at my usual CVS pharmacy. I took the prescriptions in and handed them to the pharmacist. She said she could only fill one as they were for the same medicine. I said OK and she said to come back in 20 days to refill the other and there would not be a problem.

I went back in 20 days and the person at the counter took the prescription and went to see if they had the medicine in their safe. While she was there the head pharmacist went to the safe and told her that the prescription was 2 days overdue and he would not fill it. She came back and said he would not fill it.

This guy has done this before to me and others I found out. But he has also filled his friends prescriptions that have been a month out of date also. So I asked the Tech what can I do.

She informed me that he was probably not filling it because this store does the most refills of prescriptions in the city and the FDA is showing an interest in this store and auditing it. She told me that there was another store just down the road that does not do as much business and that if I went down there they would fill it.

I took my prescription and went home and called their corporate office an was treated like a piece of dirt. The lady on the other end couldnt be bothered with the fact that if the FDA found out about it they would shut the store.

What is with CVS you go in and the pharmacist refouses to talk to you when you have a question. He ignores you and says hes to busy. And last but not least when they get a request for all of my prescriptions to be transfered to a new pharmacy which I did they said I had to come in and authorize him to do this when he was working.

And yes I am sending this to the FDA to see if they will do something about it.
