I was having trouble with a download game and thought I would surf the internet for a solution. I came across a web site about games and it asked for my phone number (mistake). My phone rang and there was a text #41463 that I should enter to gain access to the web site. I went into the web site and found nothing pertaining to the game I was having trouble with, so I backed out and found in the fine print at the bottom of the web page that unless I text back to them "stop" I would be billed $9.99 per month for their services. I text back stop and received a text back that my subscription was canceled. The Sprint bill came with a $9.99 charge. How in the world do I stop this monthly charge? If anyone has a solution please contact me by e-mail.

Smartphone users should also be aware:
You don't have to go to a website, enter your phone number, and enter a password for them to fraudulently bill you monthly charges.
I received a 4 text in-a-row on my iPhone, and I was driving at the time, so I didn't even look at them. Once parked, I looked at my phone, and the first text said something like:
"Hurry, enter password xxxx for weather alerts"
... then two more texts with weather information ...
then, "Thank you for your registration!"
I NEVER texted back or went to any website or sent any "password".
I was just driving along, minding my own business, and this company added $9.99 to my monthly phone bill without my knowledge.
This should be ILLEGAL, and ATT/T-Mobile and the rest should be held accountable for this!
