I met Daniel Birkett back a few years ago . He was a regular at the pub I hung out at in Victoria BC Canada.
He say's he was an investment banker . We met almost every week at the pub.
I got a car accident claim last summer and Dan told me he could make some money off it for me if I invested it.
I gave him $5000 at first and he told me later that month I was making money.
About two months later he met me again and said he had a great opportunity to invest in stocks and that I could make some quick cash he asked for $5000 more. I trusted him and wired him $5000 more.
After a month he told me that I made $7000 on the investments and that he would wire me the money. That was two weeks ago.
I called and e-mailed but no answer. He is hard to get a hold of sometimes as he say's he is travelling on business.
I received an e-mail last week saying he would meet up with me and talk and then that was the last time we spoke.
I now have e-mailed and called and left many messages only to have nothing in return

Good day,
I have no way of getting the police involved....due to the fact that I was willing to give the money so not really a fraud, according to the police.
They said I can take him to court and fight but no criminal charges can be laid.
I would love to get my hands on him but unfortunately he is far away.
Just a warning he has scammed more than one person.
I hear ther are many others.
He took every penny I had and almost put me on the street.
I was poor and the money he took was from a settelment from a car accicident.
If you have any email contact or address I would appreciate the help...I will send him a letter or email stating that I am hot on his trail.
Please crush the cockroach if you meet in person.

if you write in daniel struan-burkett you will find this hit http://guias11899.es/daniel-struan-birkett--malaga-telefono_id-109098, the spanish telephone book. it tells you in which village he now lives. if he is wanted by an english police force contact them immediately and tell them to contact the guardia civil in nerja, spain, financial fraud section. they know of him. and make sure to get someone who speaks spanish to do so
